Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
MatchTune ("we", "us", or "our") operates as two companies: MATCH TUNE, a société par actions simplifiée (SAS) registered in France, whose full legal identity is set out in our Legal notice; and MatchTune Inc., our United States company, at 1207 Delaware Avenue, Suite 625, Wilmington, DE 19806. Together they are responsible for the personal data processed through this website. For any privacy question, contact either company at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Contact and request details: name, work email, company, job title, website, and, for an audit request, your organisation type and the social platforms you select, together with the content of the message or request you send us.
- Analytics data: aggregate, first-party usage measured without cookies, using a pseudonymous (hashed) visitor identifier and no cross-site tracking.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information to respond to your requests and provide our services, to qualify and follow up on business enquiries, to secure and improve our website through aggregate analytics, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for each purpose is: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)); our legitimate interests in running and growing our business, balanced against your rights (Art. 6(1)(f)); and compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
4. Cookies and analytics
We do not use cookies. We measure traffic with first-party, cookieless analytics: aggregate page views tied to a pseudonymous, hashed visitor identifier, with no cross-site tracking and no advertising cookies. Because we set no cookies, no consent banner is required.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers acting on our instructions (processors), such as our transactional email provider and our hosting and infrastructure providers.
- Our audit platform, when you submit an audit or enterprise request, so we can prepare and manage your enquiry. The audit service itself is a separate product, provided to clients under its own agreement and data-protection terms.
- Legal authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. International transfers
Because MatchTune operates in both France and the United States, and some of our providers are based abroad, your personal data may be processed in countries outside your own, including transfers between the European Economic Area and the United States. Where personal data of EEA or UK visitors is transferred outside those areas, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above: for the duration of our exchanges and our business relationship, and thereafter for the period required to meet our legal obligations or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
8. Your rights in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise your rights, email us at [email protected]; we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, and in France with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).
9. Your rights in the United States
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have rights over your personal information, which may include the right to know what we collect and how we use it, to access a copy of it, to correct inaccurate information, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing and of targeted advertising. As stated above, we do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To exercise them, email us at [email protected]; you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. Your rights elsewhere in the world
Wherever you are located, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and we will honour the rights available to you under the privacy laws that apply in your country. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected], and we will respond within a reasonable time and within any period required by applicable law.
11. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
12. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and professionals. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
14. Contact
